Hallow's Eve
|
"Hallow's Eve" has been a Halloween tradition at Forest Hills for over 25 years. This event takes place just before Halloween day, giving children of all ages a chance to have fun, play some games, and win some candy! High school takes part in arranging the games each year to earn money for their class. Student Council sets the rules and takes watch over this event.

Veterans Day
|
The Veterans Day Assembly at Forest Hills remains an annual event, honoring those who have served our country. As tradition goes, the assembly begins and ends with our color guard posting and retrieving our colors, the American and Maine flag. In past years, we've added the POW/MIA flag. The Boy Scouts follow our color guard. Strings and chorus preform appropriate music to honor our verterans. Veterans that attend the assembly enjoy a luncheon provided by the leadership team prior to being recognized at the assembly. This event takes place before Veterans Day, as students have that day off from school.

Spirit Week
Spirit Week has been a tradition for decades at Forest Hills. This annual week of events has taken place beyond any staff member's time spent at our school. High School students take part in dressing up every day of the week, each day having a different theme such as Animated Character Day, Pajama Day, Camo Day, and many, many more! This week leads up to Friday, Color Day. This day, Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors dress in their designated class color and compete in games throughout the day such as Chariot Race, Relay Race, Volleyball, Matball, Mario Kart, and many, many more! Our classes compete for the legendary Spirit Stick. The class that wins the Spirit Stick keeps it in their homeroom until next year's Spirit Week. Students prepare for this annual tradition as something positive to look forward to, building team cooperative skills and friendships.
