(NEW) Spend an hour watching outside, and tallying what you see (cars, birds, etc.). At a different time of day, do you see different things?
(NEW) Make a "bucket list" of the ten places in the world ou would like to travel to during your life. Draw a world map and plan your route.
(NEW) Design your dream house.
(NEW) Find sight words in your cupboards. Make a list then graph the results- which did you see most often?
Alphabetize the spices in your kitchen.
Interview a family member.
Write and mail a (real) letter to your teacher or principal or classroom pen pal. Address the envelope yourself.
Graph the types of birds that frequent your yard or windows.
Set a clock three hours and seven minutes ahead. Whenever someone needs to know the time, help them figure it out by subtracting.
Measure the area and perimeter of each room in your home.
If you have stairs, walk up and count them. Walk down and count by twos. Walk up and count by threes. Continue through tens.
Journal about your experience during this historic time. It helps process emotions and will also be amazing to look back on decades from now!
