Bio
My name is Jill Shelley and I am happy to be your Special Education teacher and/or Case manager this school year! I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child. Our special education staff and I will be working with your child on his/her IEP goals. I look forward to working with you and your child. I believe each child is unique and I am here to help your child grow through his/her strengths. We are going to have a great year learning together.
About Me…
I have been in education for the last 23 years. I began as an Educational Technician then decided to become a Special Education teacher. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in 2020 and have been a special education teacher the last 3 ½ years in the Carrabec School District. Currently, I am attending the University of Maine and will receive my Master’s in Special Education with a dual concentration this spring. For the last 13 years I have lived in Jackman with my family.
I Love Teaching…
I teach because I had great teachers. I teach because I love to learn. I teach because children make a difference. I teach because I learn from my students.
